The Sin Fransicko Forty Nightmares
The Sin Fransicko Forty Nightmares are a parody of the NFL team known as the “San Francisco 49ers”. This is a DLC team from Mutant Football League. I came up with the design for the stadium. The vision was a football stadium in Alcatraz. The field is filled with rocks, mutant traps, and spikes. The field goal posts have prison gates that open and close — resulting in more challenging field goal attempts.
The Gnashville Lycans
The Gnashville Lycans are a parody of the NFL team known as the “Tennessee Titans”. This is a DLC from Mutant Football League. I was responsible for the stadium design. Since the team is all-werewolves, it made perfect sense to have them play in a dark forest under a full moon. The players have to avoid rocks, mutant traps, and spikes if they want to survive on the field. The swaying field goal post trees will haunt a kicker’s nightmares — that is, if the eyes of the dark forest don’t first. When working on the design, I made a 3D concept of the stadium to give the artists an idea of how the stadium should look (link).
The Diami Krakens
The Diami Krakens are a parody of the NFL team known as the “Miami Dolphins”. This is a DLC from Mutant Football League. I was tasked with creating the playbook, rating players, and implementing field hazards to add challenges and creative strategy to the game. Players will need to avoid mutant worms, piranha pits, and rocks if they want to survive on this field!
When placing the hazards on the field, I kept the Diami Kicker’s kicking range in mind. If the user were to kick to the right at full power, the ball will land near a set of pirahna pits and a worm trap. This makes it hard for the kick returner to retrieve the ball. Overall, this gives the Diama Krakens a slight homefield advantage on special teams.
